Greetings!

My name is Shannon and I’m a third year university student in the UK. I’m a white Romani but my family has been out of touch with our culture since my nan was young. I am agender-fluid grey-asexual and biromantic. Or queer for short.

As you can probably tell by the username and bio, I’m autistic. But I also live with other conditions such as: hEDS (and some of the comorbidities that come with it), executive dysfunction, cardiac syncopes, arrhythmia, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dysgraphia. A fun mix I know.

My ND traits weren’t diagnosed until I was 18 meaning for a majority of my education I was without the proper help and guidance I needed both in academia and in life. Which is what has inspired this blog. Maybe if I talk about my experiences, it can help others avoid what I have been through.
